Learning in a traditional classroom is the outcome of a teacher’s understanding of the theory of learning—how students receive, process, and retain knowledge—and the very act of teaching, also referred to as pedagogy. Traditional classroom teaching and assessment is based on various pedagogical models, which are implemented by the education authorities after adequate deliberation and evaluation.
On the other hand, E-learning is a relatively new method of learning, one that has become integral to education today as schools and universities shut down in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. At present, there isn’t sufficient research and evidence on the efficacy of systems for online instruction. The consequences of this on learning outcomes can be disastrous in the long run.
Broadly understood as the use of ICT to enhance or support learning and teaching in education, E-Learning is becoming increasingly prominent in tertiary Primary and Secondary education. But Primary & Secondary Schools are gradually bringing E-learning into the mainstream of their educational Programmes, and it is often an integral part of a classroom-based course.
An important aspect of the study is an institutional survey. The survey is an attempt to elicit quantitative and qualitative information from participating institutions, and covers a range of issues under eight headings:
The survey is designed to combine ease of completion with facilitation of high quality and detailed returns. It is a challenge to design a survey tool that addressed such a wide range of institutions (e.g. traditional campus-based institutions, dual mode, and distance-only institutions).
The survey is conducting throughout all bellow mention institutions and aims to identify the effectiveness of various online tools and technologies, the preferred learning methods of students, and other factors that might influence the teaching–learning process.

Association of Compulsive E-Learning (A.C.E.L.) acknowledge that to complete the survey project properly will take time, and require input and effort from our team at District Level, Block Level & Circle Level.
